We’ve recently been made aware of government advice being issued which will affect those of you living and working in Europe after the 29th March 2019.
As of the 29th March 2019 any UK license holders may have to pass a driving test in the EU country you are living in the event there is a no deal Brexit. If you are intending to remain in the EU and you are a driver we would strongly suggest exchanging your UK license for an EU driver’s licence as soon as possible. Increased demand may make waiting and processing times longer as it nears the 29th March 2019.
You can use your EU driver’s license on UK roads if/when visiting; and if you move back to the UK, you can exchange your licence for a UK one again- provided it was issued in the UK or other specified countries.
